Things to do in Great Falls near Imperial Inn

Great Falls may be a small city, but there is no shortage of things to see and do.  From museums to state parks, the Imperial Inn is within a 15 minute drive of some of the best attractions in Montana.  And if you’d rather stay close the hotel and avoid the drive, check out our posts on attractions within walking distance of the Imperial Inn or Downtown Great Falls.     Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center Ranked the #1 attraction in Great Falls (by TripAdvisor), the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center is only a 10 minute drive from the Imperial Inn.  Follow Lewis and Clark’s famous journey expanding the United States westward as you walk through this historic museum and trail overlooking the Missouri River in Giant Springs Heritage State Park.  The 25,000 square-foot building has a theater, hands-on curriculum-based activities, and many exhibits.  It’s only $8.00 to enter, but free for kids 15 and under!  They also have picnic tables, making it a great place to have lunch.
